Six Flags

Saturday we took Max to Six Flags. Our plan was to go in the afternoon for a couple hours so we could be back in time for our ward Christmas party. When we pulled up to the gate they were closed and there was a sign showing the holiday hours. The park did not open till 4 PM. This would have been the second time that we told Max that we were going to six flags, pulled up to the gate to find out it was closed, then gone home. Peter did not want to disappoint him again, so we killed time till they opened and decided to miss the Christmas party.

We started out by looking on our navigation system in our car to find a park. A park came up under community playground...we drove there and it was a trailer park, not a playground. Then we found another park (that was actually a preschool). They were having a fund raiser and booths of things that the mothers were selling. They also had a Santa there and a fairy. (I don't think the fairy was supposed to be there...she kept dancing around the playground and inside telling people she was looking for friends) All the kids were a little scared of her. (I am really sad I did not get a picture of her!)

After the playground we drove to Olive Garden to have some of their yummy soup, salad and bread. We still had about an hour to kill so Peter and my dad walked around Best Buy.

Finally...it was time to go to Six Flags!!! Here are some pictures of our day...

My mom had so much fun that she wanted to ride it again by herself...she made a couple kids cry because she would not get off the ride.

  1. We were supposed to go on Saturday too, but opted not to take Kelsie out in the cold (plus Logan had a really bad runny nose). Looks like you had fun!
